What's in a Name?

The Kepler Financial name was chosen for three major reasons:

Kepler was the man in the middle

Johannes Kepler was a renaissance scientist who fit in between Copernicus and Galileo. Kepler's works connected the Helios centric theory of Copernicus with the practical observations of Galileo. Like Johannes Kepler, Kepler Financial is in the middle. At our core we are middlemen.

Kepler was a number cruncher

Although Kepler's laws were developed before Isaac Newton, Kepler’s laws of planetary motion are still used by scientists worldwide. What’s more important is that Kepler’s number crunching and equations actually simplified the predictions of planetary motion. We at Kepler Financial want to keep it simple and comprehendible. We crunch numbers, but seek to simplify the solutions.

We are in elliptical orbits

Kepler's assumption of elliptical orbits of the planets, rather than circular orbits, makes an ideal analogy of today’s economic realities. Today we are in an elliptical economy. The normal cycle of the economy may be exaggerated with higher highs and lower lows on this recent swing, but the recovery and speed-up are on the way. It is perfectly natural and the economy will return. The Kepler Financial team wants to guide you through the cycles.
